Racing champion Gugu Zulu who passed away on Monday 18 July while attempting to reach the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, is being laid to rest today.
His wife Letshego Zulu had one last love letter to her late husband, the letter was read by the couple’s mutual friend and left everyone in tears.
In one part of the letter Letshego said, “God always picks his best flowers, I know that’s why he chose you.”
She went on to say that in the 15 and a half years they have been together Gugu had never been a reason for her tears. “When I would cry, for any reason, which wasn’t you, you would do your best to make me smile and not cry,” Letshego said.
