Since Metro FM’s Whose Show Is It Anyway presented by Khanyi Mbau, Somizi Mhlongo and Ntombi Ngcobo debuted on the airwaves two weeks ago, the show has been met with a lot of hostility from the radio station’s listeners.
According to Sowetan Live, the SABC has confirmed that they will be looking into the complaints and why the show hasn’t been working to the listener’s favour.
“The show has been on the air for just one week, and I think most of the negative comments about the show have been emotional.
Obviously, management would have to do a thorough evaluation of exactly what it is about the show that is causing the outcry, but they cannot just base their findings only on the audience’s reaction. But we’re aware of the negative comments about the show.” Said SABC spokesman Kaizer Kganyago
Kganyago also told the publication that a lot goes into planning a show and that the managers of the radio station would need more than a week to figure out what is not working.
