Muvhango actress Buhle Samuels who beat out the likes of Bonang Matheba and Lerato Kganyago for the role she plays of Matshidiso on SABC 2 soapie Muvhango says in the initial days fame made her anxious.
“Fame made me very anxious at first, but I’m dealing better with it now. Being put on a pedestal made me cringe,” Buhle told True Love Magazine.
She says despite the fame she has tried as hard she can to remain herself. “I love looking good and taking care of my appearance. I don’t try too hard either. Looks don’t define me. I try to be a good person-that’s the X-Factor to true beauty,” she added in an interview with True Love Magazine.
