Bonang Matheba and AKA are still going strong, despite public speculation that their relationship wouldn’t last.
AKA attended Bonang’s event in collaboration with a burger outlet on Thursday at the Arts on Main in Maboneng and he walked in carrying a big Louis Vuitton bag with a ‘surprise gift’ for his lover.
The two publicly embraced each other by kissing and hugging without a care in the world. Onlookers were shocked at why AKA chose to bring the gift to the event, but later settled down to love being the sole reason.
“Love is beautiful, it doesn’t matter how their affair started. This is a happy ending. I’m so happy for them,” said an onlooker. Bonang was her usual bubbly self and was seen in the company of her long-time friend Mishumi Madima, who knows her from her university days. She was joined by three winners from social media as she celebrated the theme #MadeItMyself
