39 Year-old Thembi Seete want a baby and delaying her wedding day

Thembi Seete and her fianceé Bo have been together for more than 10-years and although the couple has tried to be discreet about their relationship, the public has always been interested in the two.

In her interview with True Love Magazine Thembi explained why she has delayed her wedding day thus far.

“I delayed setting a wedding date because I’ve realised that marriage isn’t about the wedding ceremony or a ring on my finger, it’s about the connection you build with your partner. It was obviously awkward at first to have the conversation with Bo that I didn’t want to get married too soon after getting engaged.

Him wanting to get married immediately after the engagement scared me. Many women don’t say this out loud, but the truth is that when someone asks for your hand in marriage, you ask yourself these questions. The difference with me is that I decided to seek out answers before jumping into marriage.” She told the publication.

Thembi also added that the other reason for holding back on the wedding was due to her mother who was gravely ill due to her being diagnosed with brain tumour.

The singer and actress also confirmed that she’s always wanted to be a mother and that her and Bo are working on being parents.

“I’ve always wanted to be a mother, Bo and I are working on it though. As much as I’ve always wanted and prayed for motherhood, I find it daunting and I’ve slowed down on it because I want to do it right.” Said Thembi

The Boom Shaka member has also insisted that she wants to ensure that her children are raised by both parents.
