Modise died R30 million poorer

The late reverend Glayton Modise of the International Pentecost Holiness Church probably died a broke and broken man after allegedly being swindled out of nearly R30-million.

Modise, who died in February , had been fighting an alleged scamster since 2009 in a bid to recover the millions he invested in a bogus agricultural project.

According to a police statement seen by Sunday World, the late man of the cloth initially invested R21-million before the con man requested more funds for the venture.
