Yhe national broadcaster was hailed after it's decision to play 90% local music on its radio stations. Now the focus has moved to TV, where viewers will see 80% local shows.
At a press conference on Wednesday afternoon, the SABC made a few announcements regarding new TV programs.
It was revealed that Khanyi Mbau and Phat Joe will be hosting the weekend version of SABC3's Expresso, while another Mdoda has landed herself a talk show called Real Talk on the channel.
Another famous face who has scored a new gig is Trevor Gumbi, who is the current presenter of game show, Friends Like These.
Lorna Maseko will host Top Chef on SABC3.
There will other new shows on the channel.
