Metro FM sports presenter Mpho Maboi is allegedly in hot water for throwing shade at her colleague Lerato Kganyago on social media on Monday.
Sunday World learnt that the SABC had launched an internal investigation into Maboi's Twitter posts.
The social media rant suggested Kganyago was a fake and that Maboi did not take her seriously.
Maboi shot her mouth off when the Twitterati were descending upon True Love magazine for publishing unretouched pictures of Kganyago that exposed her cellulite.
"I don't care for that woman, personally, but still will call out what TL did to her coz that could have been any of us... Not cool," posted Maboi.
When the Twitterati disapproved of her snide remarks, SuperSport United and former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Reneilwe Letsholonyane's bride-to-be disregarded them.
Instead, she insinuated that Kganyago, whose first name means love, was a fake.
"Lerata fake love. That is why you are bothered. I'm not. Made my point. Unapologetic about either. You don't like it. TOUGH!!," she posted, much to the chagrin of her legion of fans.
