Junior Singo has landed a role in the highly anticipated etv soapie drama Rhythm City and made his debut appearance on Monday (May 09).
The 27-year-old actor plays the role of Sakhile, Zinzi (played by Ntando Duma)’s boyfriend.
“I was called in to audition, like everyone else. It was quite a roller-coaster for me. I always wanted to be on it. And they have a lot of issues with my height with the character being a basketball player” Junior told IOL.
“Somewhere, somehow, I got called back” he added.
Junior is best known as Qiniso “Q” Cele in Mzansi Magic’s Zabalaza.
He also appeared on films/dramas which includes Beat the Drum, Red Dust and The Trail. Hopeville, 4Play: Sex Tips for Girls, Heartlines, The Road and Zone 14 are among others.
