Generations: The Legacy has on Wednesday confirmed that veteran actress Connie Ferguson will bid farewell to the soapie.
The soapie’s producers released a statement on its website.
“It is with great disappointment that we have to announce the departure of the much-loved Karabo Moroka‚ played by the talented Connie Ferguson. She’s working on a couple of projects that need her undivided attention and has asked to be released from her contract. Generations: The Legacy family wishes her all the best with her endeavours and trusts she will continue playing a key role in the industry‚” read the statement.

Generations: The Legacy executive producer Mfundi Vundla had nothing but praise for the actress. “I will eternally be grateful for that and her contribution to the growth of our industry‚” Mfundi Vundla said.
Speaking to TMG Entertainment‚ Connie confirmed that she would be leaving the show.
