A unique Apple iPad Pro and accessories, designed by Apple’s Chief Design Officer Sir Jonathan Paul Ive, is expected to fetch between R200,000 and R300,000.
The unique iPad Pro was donated by Apple to the Time for Design auction. Proceeds will go towards the new Design Museum in Kensington.
International auction house Phillips said the bundle includes the iPad Pro, iPad Smart Cover, Apple Pencil, and a holder.
The back of the iPad and the inside of the iPad Smart Cover have laser-etched text stating “Edition 1 of 1”.
Phillips said it estimates the iPad Pro bundle will fetch between £10,000 (R207,000) and £15,000 (R310,000).
