A photo purportedly showing two final year university students sharing a bath has gone viral.
In the picture, the students can be seen being enjoying a joint bath session and getting rather close. Sources who know the students at Fort Hare University say they are both in the final year of studying towards a degree in Mechanical Engineering.
‘Malcom has a girlfriend’ said a shocked classmate indicating that Malcom is the one on the left. The one on the right was identified as Joe. ‘She (the girlfriend) is going to be shocked and sh is such a God fearing lady’ the source added.
When approached for comment, Joe said there is nothing to write about. ‘Its just two friends sharing a bath. You guys are hungry for news’ he said before begging us not to publish,’but please do not publish it because my girlfriend will be devastated. Besides, there is a huge shortage of water so we were doing our bit to conserve water’.
Malcom however was not interested to talk to iMzansi. The Zimbabwean national refused to share his side of the story despite our attempts to coerce a comment. Other students of Zimbabwean nationality at the University professed shock at this development and described Malcom as a ‘quiet guy from Harare who was all about his books’
The University refused to comment saying events that happen outside of campus are none of their business.
