On 18 March Cell C launched a new data promotion, where the company cut the price of eight of its most popular data products.
The price cuts applied to six contract and two prepaid options, with discounts ranging between 33% and 64%.
At the lower end of the spectrum, Cell C reduced the price of its Giga20 product from R199 per month to R99 per month – and threw in a Huawei E5573 LTE Mi-Fi device.
At the top-end, the SmartData 100GB deal – which offers 100GB anytime data and 100GB Nite data – was reduced by 64% to R999 per month.
