SHE borrowed money from a loan shark and became a slave to his 50% interest rate.
But when she couldn’t keep up with the payments, the mashonisha’s demands turned her into his s_ex slave.
And now the mum (33) has sent her 16-year-old daughter into hiding after the mashonisha allegedly demanded sex from the youngster as well!
The mum, who cannot be named to protect her daughter’s identity, said she was tired of being the man’s s_ex slave and needed help.
The woman from Kamajika near Hazyview, Mpumalanga said she borrowed R1 500 from the mashonisha in July 2014.
“I borrowed from him because I knew him from childhood.
“When I went back to give him the money he demanded that I pay 50% interest,” she said.
The mum said he told her that she should have paid back the money within three weeks, and that the loan had gained interest on a daily basis.
“The money I owed had by then jumped up to R5 000. It was simply too much for me. When he realised I could not pay back the money he demanded that I have sex with him.
“At first I refused but I eventually gave in to the pressure after he threatened to beat me and went to my mother’s house to collect items as surety,” she claimed.
She said to her horror, the man then started lusting after her daughter.
When the Team spoke to the loan shark, known as Zee, he confirmed the s_ex arrangement with the mum but denied demanding to sleep with her daughter.
“She is the one who offered to have s_ex with me as part of payment.
“I never told her I wanted to sleep with her daughter,” he said.
He also claimed the mum had borrowed R3 500 and was supposed to pay him back.
“But until today she still owes me,” he said.
Hazyview police said they could only act if the mum was able to produce solid proof that the man demanded sex with her daughter.
