South African reality show Freedom is Not Free has been renewed for the second season. The season 2 of the series is set to air on our small screens from Monday, March 14, 2016 on SABC1.
The show tells stories about freedom not meaning affordability or exploitation of opportunities. The stories are chosen on the basis of what democracy promised and people’s expectations. The underlying statement is that freedom does not come free. It has a price-tag, implications or some form of cost.
Freedom is Not Free aimed at SABC1’s youth market will talk to them directly through content, relevant characters, style, format and the use of archive material with the inclusion of social, sports, political and legislature heads in an attempt to hear relevant voices.
