Johannesburg- Hip-hop newcomer Emtee has been plagued by rumours that he drives a ‘skadonk’ and has major financial worries.
Sunday Sun is reporting that the rapper was seen pushing his car outside the Royal Hotel in Durban recently.
Apparently the scene unfolded in front of various eyewitnesses shortly before this year’s Metro FM Awards.
Speaking to the paper, Emtee explained that car trouble can happen to anyone.
The 23-year-old rapper burst onto the scene last year when his debut single Roll Up tore up the charts. Earlier this year he released his second single, Pearl Thusi from his upcoming album, Avery.
During a recent Twitter Q & A, the rapper again rubbished claims that he doesn’t have a car or a place of his own.
A follower asked Emtee about the claims. His response was, well, classic.
“I don’t floss. That’s the thing. Juz coz u dont see none of it don’t mean I don’t have it,” Emtee responded on Twitter.
Haai, but guys do you expect a 23-year-old to be driving a Ferrari?
