So this may come off as more of a vent but I’m am SO annoyed by the medical care (or lack there of) I’ve been receiving. I started having some pretty serious issues in NOVEMBER. I’ve been to 4 different doctors, including 3 different specialists and I keep getting blown off because no one can figure out what’s going on. The 2 most obvious tests have been done and came back mostly fine and no one seems to care enough to want to probe further.
They keep telling me I appear to be “a perfectly healthy 22 year old” and completely dismissing the fact that I’m having the type of symptom that any reliable medical source says “go to the doctor now” about. I’m so frustrated and annoyed and am starting to feel like I’m just going to have to deal with this for the rest of my life without ever knowing why or how to make it better.
I don’t know what I’m looking for besides commiseration. Does anyone else feel completely blown off and dismissed by medical care professionals or do I just need to find better doctors?
