BlackBerry said it is extremely disappointed by Facebook’s decision to discontinue support for its APIs for BlackBerry.
The same goes for WhatsApp’s announcement that it would end support for BlackBerry 10 and BBOS at the end of 2016.
“We fought back to work with WhatsApp and Facebook to change their minds, but at this time, their decision stands.”
BlackBerry said it is searching for alternative solutions, and is working to ensure its users have the best experience in light of the decision.
