A man from Nkandla in KwaZulu Natal has been forced to take a goat as his “wife”, after he was caught having s3x with the animal. When Peter Ndlovu was r@ping a goat, little did he know that he was having an affair with his bride-to-be until he was caught and made to marry the animal
The goat’s owner, Mr Samson Gumede, said he surprised the man with his goat and took him to a council of elders.
They ordered the man, Peter Ndlovu, to pay a lobola of R4 500 to Mr Samson Gumede.
“We have given him the goat, and as far as we know they are still together him and the goat,” Mr Samson Gumede said.
Mr Samson Gumede, a hard working man fro Nkandla, told South African newspapers that he heard a loud noise around midnight on 6 January and immediately rushed outside to find Mr Ndlovu with his goat.
“When I asked him: ‘What are you doing there?’, he fell off the back of the goat, so I captured and tied him up.”
Mr Samson Gumede then called elders to decide how to deal with the case.
“They said I should not take him to the police, but rather let him pay a lobola for my goat because he used it as his wife,” Mr Samson Gumede told the newspaper. So when Peter Ndlovu was caught in the act while having s3x with the female goat, he was made to consummate the ‘love’ relationship with it to save its honour as a form of restitution. “If a man is caught sleeping with a girl, he is ordered to marry her immediately in order to save her honour and that of her family,”
