Here’s some exciting news for Jo-anne Reyneke fans – she got a role as Busi Duma on SABC3 drama series ‘High Rollers‘.
The talented actress is best known for his starring role on Muvhango as Pearl, Intersexions as Layla and Uzalo as Sindisiwe Dube.
Jo-anne is set to play “Duma who comes into the High Rollers universe as a broker in the sale of Kings Casino and soon causes tension between Paul (Justin Strydom) and David (Antony Coleman).”
Jo-anne says she isn’t similar to her character in every way – “Busi wears these amazing dresses – she always looks good, and she knows how to use that in both her work and personal lives,” she says. “Her hair and makeup is always perfect, but I’m more comfortable in jeans and a t-shirt!”
FYI: Jo-anne’s partner is former Generations star Thami Mngqolo best known as Senzo and they have two children.
