I am not a fan of people who like playing God, who think they are Gods or even say they are Gods.”
Cassper Nyovest, who filled up the dome late last year, lashed out at the media for not putting his success story on the front page. Photographers then responded, saying they were not invited and therefore could not get front page-worthy pictures from the concert. He then went on to lash out at radio stations, saying they do not support him as they never played his music.
Now it seems Cassper has picked up another beef with Metro FM presenter Tbo Touch. Cassper recently shot a music video for his new single Malome featuring The Mahotela Queens, a single which was well-received by his fans.
Tbo Touch, presenter of The Touchdown on Metro FM, recently snubbed Cassper, he said he does not do interviews on the phone but prefers they come to the studio. Cassper could not make it to the studio as he was recording the video with the Mahotela Queens. He said he could not leave the set to be in studio. However, Tbo Touch has apparently interviewed Ricky Rick over the phones, something which rubbed off Cassper’s fans the wrong way.
Cassper then took to Twitter to express his frustrations, telling Tbo Touch to “drop the act” and that “nobody’s fooled”. Responding to a fan, Cassper said everyone had been “ganging up against him”, saying he’s just “glad they are doing it in public so you everyone can see what’s going on”.
He further said: “I am not a fan of people who like playing God, who think they are Gods or even say they are Gods.”
His fans were unhappy about the issue, asking why Tbo Touch could not do the interview over the phone or just schedule for another day it having the rapper in studio was important.
