Visas required by all except nationals from Kenya and Uganda.
Passport with appropriate visa obtainable from any Eritrean Diplomatic Mission abroad. No visa is required for;
i.) Employees of air/shipping lines represented in Eritrea traveling on duty;
ii.) Boat tourists arriving in Massawa and Assab for 48 hours, but shore pass required.

A visa on arrival available to group visitors upon prior notification through travel agents or tour operators in Eritrea.
Visa prices depend of where you are from and valid for a one month visit, valid for 3 months from issue date. Visas start at US$80 for a 30 day visa.
A business visa requires an invitation from a company in Eritrea.
