Metro FM presenters Pearl Thusi and Phat Joe have been suspended by SABC following several complains from the listeners to the SABC about the duo's alleged daily bashing of Matheba and rapper AKA on their Metro FM radio show, The Real Phat Joe.
The two have been allegedly “dissing” Bonang Matheba on the real Phat Joe show and this sparked threats to boycott the show.

Some Twitter users claimed on Phat Joe got a call from Bonang Matheba ordering him “to keep her name out of his mouth before she takes action against him.”
