The youngster from Masiphumelele near Fish Hoek in Cape Town aspires to be like well-known DJ Zinhle and DJ Black Coffee.
DJ Juju as she is known started DJing at the tender age of six. Today, thanks to her father Mike (46), who spins the discs for a hobby, she is in demand at weddings, parties and events.
“I used to see my father playing music and wanted to do it myself. He started teaching me and I have been doing it ever since!
“I love music just like my father because it is a language that everyone understands, no matter who you are and where you come from,” said the bright girl.
“DJ Zinhle is one of the first female DJs who became successful and we could even see her on television,” said Janet.
