Kanye West is expecting his son to be born “any day now”. The 38-year-old rapper can’t wait to welcome his second child into the world with his wife Kim Kardashian West, with whom he has two-year-old daughter North, and has admitted he’ll continue to juggle his career with his family because he doesn’t intend to be the “poor one” in the family.
Speaking at the Footwear News’ 29th Annual Achievement Awards in New York City, where he received the Shoe of the Year gong, he said: “I’m waiting on my son to arrive any day now. I look at my daughter and I look at my wife and she’s rich and I don’t plan on being broke. I’m so, so focused on creating.”
Kim, 35, is expected to give birth to the little one later this month after she underwent a medical procedure over the weekend to turn the breech baby to the head-down position.
But while the procedure was a success and the tiny tot is now engaged, the beauty admitted it was extremely painful.
She said at the time: “They don’t give you any pain medication, and let me tell you: This was soooooo painful. Probably more painful than childbirth. BUT it worked!!! (sic)”
Meanwhile, with the little one’s impending birth creeping closer, the couple, who got married in 2014, are still yet to pick out a name for their soon-to-be new bundle of joy.
