Head to the sunny suburb of Sea Point for the upcoming 2015 Festival of Chariots on Monday, 28 December 2015. The Hindu celebration, which is observed in major cities all over the world and hosted locally by the International Society for Krishna Consciousness, involves towing statues of religious deities on a hand-pulled, brightly decorated wooden chariot. Revellers sing and dance, creating a lively street parade for young and old to enjoy.
