FORMER Isidingo actor Don Mlangeni-Nawa’s celebrity status allegedly failed to save him from bouncers!
The Uzalo star is said to have been thrown out of the VIP section of the famous nightclub, Boulevard, in Durban.
Don, who plays Dlomo, a law-abiding cop in the SABC1 telenovela, was allegedly thrown out for misbehaving.
Revellers were said to be shocked to see Dlomo thrown out of the Smirnoff Explore the Night function.
Witnesses claimed the actor was thrown out of the VIP section where DJ Tira and singer Joocy hang out.
Our source, who tried to take a photo with the famous actor, claimed that Dlomo was drunk. “He was trying to get into the VIP section, but a bouncer grabbed him and threw him out.”
The source claimed Dlomo returned to the club moments later and took a seat at a normal table.
“When he returned, he pretended to be asleep,” the source claimed.
The source, who sent Sunday Sun a photo, said when she took the photo with Dlomo, he started hitting on her.
“He started kissing me on my cheeks and touched me in all the wrong places.
“He grabbed my behind and asked my friend and I to organise a third girl so his friends would have partners,” she claimed.
Another source said when she spoke to one of the men who accompanied Dlomo, he said they weren’t invited to the Boulevard. “He said they were in Durban for the Uzalo shoot,” she said.
Dlomo and his two friends said they were on their way to a B&B in KwaMashu.
Dlomo denies the allegations: “I’m a 56-year-old man who doesn’t go around at night.
“I’ve got a family and responsibilities. I don’t even know where Boulevard is. I don’t know what you’re talking about unless you just want to ridicule me.”
