Baywatch babe, Pamela Anderson, will be Playboy’s final n-ude model, SkyNews reported.
The adult magazine that launched in 1953 with a sultry Marilyn Monroe on its cover earlier this year announced it would stop publishing photographs of fully n-ude women.
The decision came after a top editor of the magazine met with its founder Hugh Hefner at the Playboy Mansion last month, according to chief executive Scott Flander
Starting in March 2016, Playboy’s revamped print edition will still include photographs of women in provocative poses. They just won’t be n-ude anymore, Flanders told The New York Times, adding that such pictures have become “passe” in the internet age.
Anderson announced in an interview with celebrity news show Entertainment Tonight that she will grace the cover and centrefold of Playboy magazine’s final n-ude issue.
The 48-year-old was first photographed for the magazine in 1989.
The January/February 2016 issue which will be released on 11 December this year marks Anderson’s 13th cover appearance.
