AKA’s Baddest single has received a BBC 1Xtra play listing.
It’s the rappers second single to feature on the BBC Radio show in 2015. All Eyes on Me made the playlist earlier this year.
In 2015, Khuli Chana’s single,No Lie, also featured on 1Xtra, and claimed the number one spot on DJ Edu’s Destination African show, DNA Top 5.
The BBC also recognised K.O after he got major airplay in SA and the UK, thanks to his hit song, Caracara – which has more than two million views on You Tube.

But having two singles feature on the digital urban radio station in one year is a first for SA music, and AKA is sure to be pleased.
He may have made it into the tabloids more than he would have liked in 2015, but he managed to make sure all the drama did not overshadow his music.
AKA is the number one most played local artist on South African radio stations for the year.
His single, Run Jozi, also became the third single off his Levels album to go gold.
AKA took to Instagram to share his excitement about Baddest getting airplay in the UK.
“Great news! #Baddest has just been playlisted on @bbc1xtra ‼️ A big shout out to all UK fam and fans for the support. It's been a great year for me, can’t wait to go back! #3RDWORLDBOSS. Of course I gotta send a big shout out to @iamdjedu," he said.
There is just no stopping the 3rd World Boss. Congrats, AKA!
