Two suspects are dead after a police shootout on Richardson street in San Bernardino last night as police closed in on the masked gunmen suspected of killing 14 and injuring another 17 at a regional center yesterday. One of the suspects has been identified as Syed Farook.

At a press conference this evening, San Bernardino Police Chief Jarrod Burguan revealed one of the suspects was male and the other was female. Their relationship is not known.
The FBI said third person has been detained and is being questioned. They aren't sure if he has anything to do with the shooting but they detained him because they saw him running away from the vicinity of the crime.

The gunman was reportedly at a holiday party at Inland Regional Center in San Bernardino, when he got into an argument and left - before returning heavily armed with at least one accomplice and opening fire.

But the FBI is looking at several possibilities including terrorism but they aren't sure what the motive is.
David Bowdich, assistant director of the FBI's field office in Los Angeles, says one possible motive is workplace violence and another is 'terrorism.
