BOOZE flowed freely on Hillbrow's streets after an SABMiller truck crashed with a cop van this morning.
Cops said locals were seen collecting what was left of the spilled booze moments after the crash.
Cop spokesmen sergeant Mdudzi Zondo said the cop van was travelling through the intersection at Esselen Street and Banket Street when it was involved in a crash with the truck that "came from nowhere".
"We suspect the driver lost control and was unable to turn at the intersection," Zondo said.
Cops said a dozen onlookers rushed to the truck to salvage what was left of the booze.
"No one was injured during the accident and the situation was contained immediately. Most of the SABMillier stock was destroyed unfortunately."
