DA leader Mmusi Maimane is dabbling in dangerous liaisons with Twitter once again.
Maimane has a history of Twitter campaigns backfiring on him, such as the time his online opponents hijacked the hashtag #AskMmusi.
Once again it all began with good intentions on Tuesday night when Maimane tweeted: “What I will not allow in South Africa is the re racialization of our people for political populism and polarization. It must be one nation.”
By Wednesday morning #ThingsMaimaneWillNotAllow was trending in South Africa.
