Economic Freedom Fighters’ Member of Parliament (MP) Mbuyiseni Ndlozi, has stuck by his 'white boy' remark that saw him being evicted from the National Assembly yesterday.
He was referring to a Democratic Alliance MP who had pointed out that Ndlozi was not sitting in his own seat during a vote on one of the many budget review and recommendation reports that were being adopted yesterday.
Ndlozi was led out by the Serjeant at Arms, after he refused to withdraw a remark that he 'would not be monitored by a white boy'.
Ndlozi explained why he didn’t back down.
“It’s a representation of an attitude which is prevailing in most sections of South Africa. Which otherwise goes by the name 'white supremacy'. So it was a rejection of that particular attitude.”
