I believe 8ta is going to change the market. What they must do is to come up with reasonable pricing and flexibility on Contract packages. all three exist mobile operators don't care about Contact users since it was designed for rich only. They are still using that logic for the charges or rates. Student and less earners also buy contract phones since they don't have full cash to buy phone. but MTN ,Vodacom and Cell C didn't do any thing to accommodate that.
If 8ta can reduce Data and Voice Rates, they will gain momentum and meet their goals of 10% -15% growth plans.
Also if they can come with something different on payment terms start from 6 month to 24 months contract.
They need to move faster on introducing billing per second since the majority of South Africans are unemployed, they don't spend more time on the phone.
