The actress had established herself in the entertainment industry as Sonia Sedibe after marrying her husband back in 2006.

Now that she’s divorced, Sonia says she’s gone back to her surname Mbele professionally. “These days I conduct my business as Mbele. When viewers first met me back in 1998, they knew me as Sonia Mbele. So I want to reintroduce them to the young woman they fell in love with,” the August True Love mag cover girl said.

But the actress says she will still be a Sedibe because she made the surname famous. “I’m still Sedibe though: my children still use that surname and belong to it. Plus, I made it famous!”
