Zodwa Wabantu of Eyadini Lounge fame has come out to defend herself from the criticism she received after her Durban July dress at the weekend. “I am a role model for a lot of people. People are able to face their challenges because of the example I set,” she was quoted as saying by the tabloid on Thursday.Zodwa said what people did not know was that behind those short dresses and the dancing was a woman who had brains. She further revealed she had been given an opportunity to be a brand ambassador for an energy drink. The two parties had been negotiating for some time and had now reached an agreement.
