Now that the storm that erupted around Mampintsha's "angry outburst" has settled, he has thanked Mzansi for finding the lighter side of "intense" situations.
This after a video of Mampintsha lashing out at Babes Wodumo taking home no awards at the SAMAs went viral and the #MampintshaChallenge spread like wild fire.
Mampintsha told the Fresh Breakfast team that even though he has moved on from the "awards drama," he was definitely "not okay" at the time.
The musician explained that he thought that people had a [personal] problem with either him, his company or Babes.
"Now I am alright and I am grateful to SA for making the situation a bit lighter. I have apologised for the insults but at least the message has been spread. I am now over the awards drama because although it was turned into a joke people got my message," he said.
