Joe Mafela to be buried next to Mandoza

As family, friends and industry peers prepare to give their last farewell and respect to Joe Mafela, his resting is being prepared next to Mandoza.

As the funeral ceremony takes place at the University of Johannesburg's Soweto campus, Joe Mafela's resting place will be laid to rest at the Westpark Cemetery next to the late Mandoza who passed away last year in December.

During Joe Mafela's memorial service on the 23rd of March, actors such as the likes of Patrick Shai spoke fondly of the late actor and how much of a great mentor the late actor was.

On the day his death was made public, Joe Mafela's closest friend, Lilian Dube expressed how happy Joe Mafela was as he prepared to take his wife on a cruise holiday.

The likes of Thembi Mtshali who acted alongside Joe Mafela on Sgudi'Snyc and singers such as the legendary Letta Mbulu were seen singing their last farewell to the actor as they danced and celebrated his life whilst surrounding his coffin.
