After battling with cancer since 2015, kwaito star Mduduzi “Mandoza” Tshabalala was announced died on Sunday.
Talking to SABC news about he death of his father Tokollo Tshabalala put on a brave face and shared some fond memories with the viewers. “All I can say is that my father died a proud man, he had everything he wanted in life,” Tokollo said.
Tokollo said that, because Mandoza grew up without a father, he wanted to make sure he was always there for his children. “All he ever wanted was to raise his children and before his last breath he said, “When I am gone one day I need you to be strong,” Tokollo said.
There to support Tokollo was Mandoza’s bodyguard, manager and veteran poet Mzwakhe Mbuli.
