Atandwa Kani and Fikile Mthwalo MARRY in Secret!
Did Atandwa Kani secretly marry actress Fikile Mthwalo over the holiday season?
All signs seem to be suggesting that the couple are officially Mr and Mrs Kani, following their quickie engagement in 2015.
For starters we have lost count at the number of times that Atandwa has referred to Fikile as his ‘wife’ in the last month or so.
Similarly, Fikile has been referring to Atandwa as her husband a lot on social media.
“Body for my Baby Love… I might as well tattoo “UMNYENI kaFIKILE” on my chest… I married @fiksie cause that was my God planned destiny,” Atandwa captioned on Instagram three days ago. To which Fikile replied to in the comment section: “oh my beautiful husband! I miss you!!!!! You drive me completely insane with love @atandwakani”
But perhaps the biggest hint that the couple are living in holy matrimony is that three weeks ago, Fikile posted a snapshot of a shirtless Atandwa sporting what appears to be a wedding band. The photo was accompanied by the caption: “#MINE …4ever”.
Atandwa and Fikile last year starred in local drama It’s Complicated. The couple is said to have hooked up around that period, following Atandwa’s split from actress Thembisa Mdoda.
Several media reports have alleged that Atandwa recently discovered that he was not the biological father of Thembisa’s twin boys during a nasty custody battle.
Fikile currently resides in New York City, where she is studying. She was in South Africa during the festive season.
